In our current world, we often hear about ‘balance’ in our lives – balancing life and work, balancing church and work. But friends, it’s NOT about balance. It’s about integration. It’s about realizing that our work is our faith lived out. Each of us is called to work. And how that plays out is evidence – or not – of our faith.

One of our local churches, First Presbyterian, is forming a Center for Faith and Work. In preparation, their Fall sermon series was titled Faith and Work: An Exploration of Vocation. You could find one – or all – of these messages powerful in framing your own view of work.

The Theology of Work Project answers the question "What does the Bible say about work?" by producing Bible commentary, topical articles, and audio/video resources that examine faith and work from a Christian perspective.  The Bible and work are meticulously analyzed in our commentary, and lessons are driven home through case studies and videos.  This robust commentary on the Bible and work is available for free online
