This year at J4 Leaders, we are learning about how to Love our Neighbors. When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment he declared (Matthew 22:37-40) "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.” We look forward to examining this text and discussing what it means for us as leaders at work, community and home.
Please join us on Tuesday, September 5th to hear Lori Luedtke share about "God as Perfect Love".
Born a Texan, Lori has called Orlando and Central Florida her home since 1996. She has a 19 year-old son, and two step-children. She started her own design firm, Panache Design, over 20 years ago and has helped many home owners and businesses to create beautiful spaces. Lori is deeply involved with the community as an active member of her church, Holy Cross Lutheran, heading up their Cancer Care Ministry and as a volunteer usher for services. The founder of God Chicks, a women’s book club, she also hosts weekly Bible Study in her home. Lori volunteers for the Z88 radio station and is a contributor to The Christian Sharing Center. She also founded Aim for a Cure, raising money for melanoma research in honor of her brother, David, who succumbed to the disease. Lori filmed a documentary about her journey which is posted to You Tube and has received over 2000 views. In this documentary, she offered to talk with and pray for anyone with a family member going through this dreadful diagnosis. Because of the documentary, she has established relationships and keeps up with five GBM patients regularly. Her story has been featured in the Moffitt Hospital newsletter as well as the May 2017 issue of Lake Mary Life Magazine. Lori seeks to provide hope and encouragement to those battling the disease.
