June Forum: "Love Like Jesus"

First Presbyterian Church of Orlando | 106 E. Church Street | Edington Ministry Center | 3rd Floor, Sterchi Conference Room | Parking Garage located at Jackson/Rosalind - * Bring your parking ticket for validation.

This year at J4 Leaders, we are learning about how to Love our Neighbors. When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment he declared (Matthew 22:37-40) "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.”  We look forward to examining this text and discussing what it means for us as leaders at work, community and home.

Please join us on Tuesday, June 6th to hear Anne Taylor share about "Love Like Jesus"

Anne is a graduate from St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. Upon graduation she moved to Winter Park to begin her career in youth ministry. She received her Master’s in Christian Education from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1987. Anne worked in parish ministry until June 2015 when she was invited to come on staff with IDignity.

Anne is a founding member of IDignity and served IDignity’s board president before becoming IDignity’s first Development Director. She often refers to this position as her “dream job” because she is able to spend time talking to people about an organization she is passionate about while at the same time helping those in need of identification.

Anne serves as a community chaplain at the downtown YMCA once a week where she is an avid member. She is a speaker and trainer for Youth Ministry Institute which is based out of Orlando.
In her free time she enjoys playing a round of golf with her husband Chuck, paddle boarding on one of the many lakes in Orlando and Winter Park and serving the community in a variety of ways. She is a member of Grace Church in Orlando where she is involved in women’s ministry. She and Chuck are the proud parents of two adult daughters; Mary Michael and Katy.
